speedtouch 120 install problem

bought a speedtouch 120 wireless adapter from ebay (very mse lol) and arrived minus installation cd, emailled seller (although realised after that listing did not mention cd doh) and he said you didn't need it, that windows would do it automatically
now I am not technologically minded but it just will not work!!!! have tried automatic install and just keeps asking for cd, have tried downloading the drivers and still nothing. can't find much info online and am now officially stuck
don't really want to have to fork out again for a new one but am at a total loss on how to get it to work, any advice gratefully received as this is driving me nutty

Windows should be able to find the drivers for you but you need to be online whilst you do this.

BTW i'm assuming you have XP or Vista

have downloaded the drivers, installed them and run the hardware wizard doobry again and ends saying it cannot complete the installation because it cannot find the file specified (I know where I saved them and sure it was right file)
think I'll just have to forget about the wireless cos this just isn't working for me lol

I have the install disk if you like... dunno how I'll get it to you though!
and yes, it won't just install with windows, you need the software.

Edit Ah .. mine is the Speedtouch 121G - well that's what it says on the back!

Could always download the drivers directly from the manufacturer:

It's their New Zealand site, but the product's exactly the same.
