I am going on holiday in 1 week, and need some travellers cheques.
I have just used 'moneysavingexpert' to look at euro currency conversion.
I just wnadered if anyone can post a link, if there is somewhere when I can search for the best traveller's cheques rates (On mse)
Thanks,
Dom

fair point, dmg, I never use them, mainly because it's a pain having to get them exchanged.
Are you going somewhere that doesn't have a hard currency, if so, take some US dollars, even though the dollar isn't strong they still seem to be a universal currency! If anything I say starts to make sense, PANIC!0 -
i always take travellers cheques for the reason that they are insured if they go missing
i get stirling cheques from the post office and change the abroad, i always find you get a better deal doing it this wayThe only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

True - their only redeeming featurei get stirling cheques from the post office and change the abroad, i always find you get a better deal doing it this way
Garbage. You get the worst of both worlds - commission to buy them and commission/fees/exchange rate spread when you cash them - and in some parts of the world difficulty in finding somewhere to change them at all0
