White meter storage heaters

We have just replaced our white meter storage heaters with gas central heating but still have all of the heaters (6 or 7 I think).
What I was wondering is whether there is any market for these (can't see much on ebay), but I wasn't sure is scrap metal dealers would take them or whether they could be donated to a charity which could use them?
Or, if anyone has any other ideas...? Otherwise, it'll be the tip!

Rather than the tip you could put them on your local Freecycle group - someone might appreciate them.
