Cash Advance Charges And Betting/Gambling Transactions
Comments

The reason card companies have started treating gambling transactions as cash advances is that gambling debts cannot be pursued through the courts, whereas cash loans can.
So use a card that directly charges gambling transactions, don't pay it back and you can't be touched for it. That's the theory anyway.
I'm surprised they've taken so long to cotton on to this - presumably one got their fingers burnt and they are beginning to realise their vulnerability.0 -
