Well, you could ask for a refund and buy another cooker, but not if you have accepted the new one by now.,and presumably used it?
How do Swale heating fit into the equation, are they employed by argos?

yes ive accepted new one as needed cooker and i really did not want the hassle of ordering a new one ect.
can i put in a complaint about not cooking for 7 days due to there fault?
and the lack of support from customer services ect

You can complain about the very poor service, but I am not sure you will get anything of monetary value for your trouble. If you did,it would be a bonus.

    You've accepted a new cooker.

    You can either move on...

Or sue them for a million pounds.

It's bad news when your 'nobs' start dropping off.

Not sure what the issue is here. Have you got a new one? If so what is the problem?

Jeez, what is it with the people on this forum, the lady paid for a cooker of a type that she wanted, it was replaced by a model that is different - if you went and ordered a Mercedes S class and when they delivered it gave you an A class instead would you accept it?

People purchase an item for not only it's functionality but also it's looks etc. If it were for the former alone then we would all just have a ring of stones in the garden with a few logs in the middle!!!

I wish people on here would stop flaming posters because they are trying to actually get what they have paid good money for, and are therefore entitled to.

Hey take a chill pill! :rotfl:

It is not flaming it is asking a legit question. Is the real issue about the fact that it is not the same cooker or is it that the OP was without a cooker for a week.

If the OP is not happy with the repalcement, then why? The OP says that they no longer stock the item. Do you think they should manufacture one especially?

I think the examples you give are a little bit extreme, don't you?
