Zone Alarm - problems downloading

Hi,

Has anyone else experienced problems downloading Zone Alarm Free version?

I've saved it to desktop but when I run the application I get the following message:

"Set up was unable to find the msi package or patch http://redirect.zonelabs.com/redirect/route/......." etc

Am I doing something wrong? (I have managed to download it to another computer before without any problems and have also downloaded AVG and Spybot this afternoon without problem).

If anyone can throw any light I'd be really grateful.

where is it your downloading from

I had that problem on my windows xp desktop PC while trying to download through a browser through the zonealarm site. I couldn't work out what caused it.

The next day I managed to download it with no problems.

Many people have had problems with the new version of ZA - Google it and see !

Try Sygate or one of the others.

Thank you very much Reluctant Spender, that has sorted me out! Plus I was unaware of the forums on Zone Alarm - it's useful to know they are there if I have any future difficulties.

I wouldn't bother with zonealarm try pctool firewall plus much more user friendly and is better than ZA hands down. ZA used to be good but now the free one is carp.
