something extra special to do in New York

My brother, newwife and 1 year old daughter are honeymooning in New York in September. We want to buy them an "experience" to have in New york as a surprise. We thought of a helicopter flight but anyone think of anything else we could do????

the helicopter flight is quite standard. other ideas for NYC experiences that I can think of is..

1 - Hire a Limo for a couple of hours, to drive them to a nice meal.. circa $300

2 - Book a really expensive meal (https://www.opentable.com) and give them the reservation along with gift vouchers for the restaurant. (NYC has amazing restaurants

3 - if flying into or from JFK, book them the helicopter flight as the transfer into manhattan - see US Helicopter flights... 2 helipads, either at Wall Street, or 34th Street!

didn't take me long to think of them..

You can get their name put up in light on broadway, just pop along to the hersheys store on broadyway and 48th and for the princley sum of $5 you can get any message you want put up on their "zipper reader board" outside of their shop for 15mins.

    go to the loo
    get a new mascara
    get a present for a friend/relative?

Personally i took my good lady into the M&M's store, which is on the opposite corner to the hersheys store, then when she was looking about, personally I dont understand the appeal of souvenirs of beans with faces on em, and excused myself, loo etc, ran over to the hersheys store and got the message put up, its more effective at night as its far clearer and easier to record for video etc, one thing I would suggest is to make sure you check what they type in as on the 1st go they mis-spelt my other halfs name.

Find the Times Square Information Center between 42nd and 43rd on Broadway, locate the HSBC stand, say cheese for the camera (for free), then return to the aforementioned square and affix your eyes firmly on the HSBC sign. Your face will soon appear.
