Hotel - 18th October 2008 1 x Night 2 x Double Rooms

Can anyone help?
I'm trying to find a very cheap hotel in London for 1 night, i.e. the 18th October 2008
I need two double rooms and have a budget of £50.00 per room max. Need somewhere within London thats on the tube network and not a 100 miles away from the west end. Have tried alot of sites etc, but not having much success - can anyone spare a few minutes to help?
Many thanks

The Travelodge Aldgate East is available for that night right now in their sale for £49 per room per night. It was formerly the Comfort Inn London Tower and is within 500 yards of the Tower Of London, Tower Bridge and St.Katherine's Docks so if you don't fancy the tube, you can get a river clipper west from there.

To be honest, I'd book that now so that you definately have something but be warned, these rates are prepaid and non-refunable.

At the other end of town, there's The Enrico Hotel for £51 and The Caswell for £52 (on laterooms) which are close by Victoria. I'm not familiar with either of them but here are their websites...
