Studying GCSE's at Home?

Hey, Has anyone done this?

I'm thinking of it, as I really want to improve my GCSE Grade's In English and Maths ( English this year I think .. and Maths next year! ). I had found a place which does it but it's in the next town from me, and it's a lil bad for travel! and as it will be 7:00 - 9.30 .. it puts me off a little!

Someone told me you can study them from home? but I'm not really sure how it would work? like with coursework ect. which would have to be set and marked? ect.? and the speaking and listening bit?

Anyone that knows cheers!
