Would advise against pushing them, it is possible but I doubt they would last long.

Actually it's absolutely fine. It is designed so the gears aren't engaged when it's not switched on. So no nasty clicking
But if that Thmoas is like the one my lad has got, it'll drive you barmy playing a few bars of the Thmoas theme, then going, "Thomas you are a really usefull engine" etc etc.....

No it doesn't.. It is a little noisy just from the motion of the train, but no music.

  • We've been to Toys r us today and bought 3 for 2 on the wooden sets...

Got the figure of eight Thomas water tower set £30 (from £40)

    Cranky Crane £25

    James (battery) £25

AS cheapest is free we expected to pay £55
Gave her our token for the free pop up Thomas tent, she scanned it and it took £20 of the bill ...so £35. She then puts the Thomas tent in a bag for us...without scanning it we realizesd when we got home!!

So paid £35 for £100 of Thomas stuff!!!!

If we didn't have 3 hyper kids with us at the till we'd have noticed! Felt guilty and told her!

    As it was...a real bargain!!!

Well done, you. I wasnt so lucky, she scanned my tent then used the voucher.

We bought a build your own Thomas (£9.99), a ball blowing Thomas (looks fab £14.99), box of stickers (£2.99), a wooden Alfie (for his Brio set £9.99), a my first James (for my friends baby boy £5.99), a my first Thomas (again for my friend, this was on buy one get one free so it was supposed to be £4.99 but was free), lots of Thomas party things (cups, plates, napkins, all on 3 for 2).

So we got a free tent, £20, free Thomas £4.99 and quite a few party pieces. Saved £30 all in all, was rather pleased but his present list has grown rapidly beyond what he was supposed to be getting!! lol

Seems Toys R Us have done some good business the last few days!

We also got the half price Thomas train set at £49.99 and got some Thomas cards for £2.99 to take it over 50 notes for the free tent. Our 2 year old will be pleased!

We had our 4 year old with us too and got him loads of Star Wars figures and toys and when u spend over £60 u get a free space ship worth £25!

We're just waiting for santa to pick them up now...............i hope he gets here quick before the little un's find them again and open them! lol

  • I think this is where we gained! The vouchers were on the shelf edge, but there were no tents. So at the till the lady just reached under the till and took a tent out of a box and popped it in a bag...hence it not being scanned!
