Thanks for all the replies. Can anyone give a few specifics e.g. price of shirts , blouses, skirts ect. Also I,m sure, as the GD is 14 and hard to buy shirts for, any info on hard to find sizes and prices would be really helpful.:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

I am on the lookout for school shoes. Managed to get a pair for 1 daughter in the Next sale but still need another pair. Want good quality like Hushpuppies or Clarks but not at those prices!!
Brantano can be quite good if you go at the right time. anyone have any other suggestions?0 -
Does anyone know where you can buy light blue polo shirts?
School charge £6 each with school logo..so I thought I would cut logo off old ones and sew on the, hopefully, cheaper polos.
Good plan if I can find some light blue somewhere.:T
Qs and store 21 they are £1 each.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0 -

I prefer to pay a bit extra for good quality, easycare/non-iron items. I once bought cheap polo shirts from Asda, they had shrunk after one wash and I could never get the creases out. M and S uniforms look as good at the end of the year as at the start, even hand-me-downs.
My DS is very 'heavy' on school clothes, always coming home covered in paint, glue, mud or all three!! His M&S trousers have been fantastic this year, in fact as he's leaving to go to secondary (changing from grey to black) I'll be selling his old ones on ebay - they are in brilliant condition.0 -
3 for2 seems to have finished in tesco near me. Just as well I got everything last week0

I have bought most of my kids uniform from M&S on the 3 for 2 offer. I am really pleased with the wool blend trousers as they have zips on the pockets.
I have ordered their t-shirts from www.yourschooluniform.com who are supplying the tops with logos on for my children's school.
Has anyone else ordered from them? I ordered over two weeks ago and haven't heard from them since. I have emailed a couple of time to chase the order, but no-one has replied. There is no phone number on the site either which isn't great.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0
