Thought it might be a good idea to start now as I remember trying to do this for 3 kids, spent a lot of money:rolleyes: .
Doing this as I recently found school shirts for my GS in an M&S outlet, Buy one get one half price. 3 pack of short sleeved shirts £4, bought 2 packs making £1.00 a shirt.

Adams have some uniform in the half price sale - yellow polos from £2 for 2 for example. The full price uniform is on 3 for 2.

Don't know if it's instore though, or just online.

    Sainsburys have a 3for2 also.

I bought my son a twin pack of navy school trousers today from Debenhams & they only cost me £4 - ( £2 for a pair of trousers can't be bad!)

Does anyone know where you can buy light blue polo shirts?

School charge £6 each with school logo..so I thought I would cut logo off old ones and sew on the, hopefully, cheaper polos.

Good plan if I can find some light blue somewhere.:T

M and S do light blue, uniform is on 3 for 2 at the moment. If you work it out on a 'cost per wear' basis, I prefer to pay a bit extra for good quality, easycare/non-iron items. I once bought cheap polo shirts from Asda, they had shrunk after one wash and I could never get the creases out. M and S uniforms look as good at the end of the year as at the start, even hand-me-downs.

Asdas do multi packs now as well which turns out cheaper than if you wait till the autumn. I cant remember the prices since I removed all the tags, labeled the kids names on and hung them ready in the wardrobe already :o (I'm expecting my third child any day now so I'm trying to be organized)
