Hello Again!
I have now got an appointment first thing Monday Morning at the County Court (9.15) I have my paperwork ready and the fees, I am really nervous now as to what will happen, will it happen on the same day? I dont want the BR to be rejected and do not want (and cannot) to enter an IVA, am scared of what is going to happen!
I have my forms filled in and want to make sure they are correct, bit of a cheek I know but will anybody have a look at them for me? am so nervous and cannot risk having anything wrong, the BR would give me the chance to start afresh and re-build my life.
What do I do now, waiting is probably the worst part!
Thanks for any help you can provide me with

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Here is my story from a month ago and hopefully it will help: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1012833
Yeah it wont all happen in a day in fact it will only take a few hours. If you have any questions do ask away. You might want to post you incoming and outgoings on here for people to comment on as this might be a tripping point for sum.
Also i guess you have taken advice from National Debtline, CAB or CCCS as the judges like to ensure that BR is for you?:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

The clerk checks your forms for you when you get to court and then makes any needed alterations so don't worry on that count. It's normal to worry about being refused bc,i think we must have all felt like that at some point,i know i certainly did:o . Good luck for mon. Thanks guys
I spoke to the national debt line and also a solicitor that both said my only option is BR although they didnt seem too keen of saying this!
Here are a few details of my situation;
Below are my assets
Description Approximate value (£) dvd's (x 10) 40.00 books (autobiographies) 30.00 mobile phone pay as you go 40.00 chest of draws from house i do not resid 250.00 chest of draws from house i do not resid 300.00 Wardrobe from house i do not reside 500.00 bedside cabinet from house i do not live 50.00 bedside cabinet from house 50.00 double bed with headboard 300.00 Exercise machine 60.00 laptop second hand bought for work use 150.00
and below are my debts mortgage is a joint mortgage which i am having a horrid nightmare with, I do not live at the house as I moved back to my parents last year.
Name Postcode Ref Number Amount Owing (£) Net Owing (£) Northern Rock 194,702.00 205,000.00
Name Postcode Ref Number Amount Owing (£) Date incurred Egg 3,506.00 Natwest Plc 4,839.12 Capital One 492.44 Northern Rock joint debt 15k each 30,000.00 Virgin Loans MBNA 14,000.00 Visa Vanquis 250.00 0 Natwest Plc overdraft 1,500.00
And here are my current outgoings, bear in mind i work in sales business is not great at the moment (credit crunch etc) so I only bring in between 1100 and 1500 per month it has been 1460 roughly for the last few months.
How much do you spend each month on the following: Mortgage payments or rent on your home £Housekeeping (including food and cleaning) £Gas, electricity, other heating £Water £Telephone charges £Travelling to and from work and other essential journeys £Clothing £Maintenance payments and fines £Council tax £Other essential payments (e.g. life/household insurance, car tax & repairs) £If there are other essential payments, provide detailsof these payments
Can you help me? I want to make sure this is correct as you can see I am not in a position to pay the mortgage and all of my debts as well, so if you can help and have a look that would be great!
Quite embarressing putting this on here but please try not to judge me I have made massive mistakes!
Thanks Claire xxClaireyD

Claire you don't need to put any of those assetts on the forms. The OR is only looking for things of real value, say £1000+.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

rent/mortgage and rent to parents: 1040.00 Is this really how much you pay your parents? It seems rather a lot.
Housekeeping: 180.00
gas electric: 60.00 This is a lot considering there are 3 of you in the house do you not divide it?
water: 11.52
telephone: £30
travelling to work etc: £100
Clothing: 40 mainly for work clothes
council tax: 55
interest from bank acc from using OD and monthly charge: 39.00 You won't have this anymore, it will go into your BR
What about dental, opticians, prescriptions?
Holidays
Just my initial thoughts.

Thanks Tigerfeet have a good day too
The rent is £450 for my parents and the mortgage payments for the house are £590.00 I think my parents would be living the high life with me paying them all of that lol! :-)
The 60 is from the house where i do not live i pay 137 for bills at that house on top of what i give to my parents
Dentist is not too bad it works out at about 40 a year unless I need work doing which I havent had so far :-)
Holidays i havent had one for over 2 years now as I cannot afford it, i wish i could go! maybe in the future! :-)ClaireyD

OK why are you paying for the house you have moved out of? If you are going for vol. repo. you shouldn't be paying any debts and these will go into your BR so shouldn't appear on your SOA.
Put down £15 a month for dentist, opticians and prescriptions.
£30 for holiday
£10 haircuts
£450 rent
£137 bills (split this up into gas, elec, water, cont. insuranance)
£30 telephone
£100 travel (is this bus/train?
£40 clothing
Are the water and CT for your old house or new?
Hope some of that makes sense.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
