    While it's true the higher the percentage you use on the night rate the more beneficial Economy7 will be you do not have to use over 50% on the night rate for it to become viable. I have GCH and an E7 meter and use approx 20-25% on the night rate which works out slightly cheaper than all my units being charged on one rate.

    The confusion was you because in your opening post you stated:

    After close inspection of my bill someone pointed out to me that I use significantly more nightime than daytime units.

    No need to explain now; You original quote was with reference to the bill. The second is what you really do use.
