Soccer Sports Advice Please

Hi

Im looking for some advice. This morning I went to Soccer Sports in search of some cheap trainers as im 8 months pregnant and my feet are very swollen so i didnt want to spend alot as i will only be wearing them for a couple of weeks

I found a nice pair for £15 which i decided to buy. My hubby then spotted some tiny baby trainers reduced to £10.49 and we decided to buy them. We waited for the cashier to serve us and were there for ages because their computer was running very slow.

When we got home my hubby looked at the receipt and noticed we have been charged twice for the babies trainers. Were going to go back tomorrow to see what they can do if anything but i thought i would write on here for some advice beforehand.

Have I forfitted my rights as I entered my pin and confirmed the amount to be debited? As i have now left the store they arent going to know if i did in fact purchase two sets.If there is any dispute can i ask them to check their CCTV?

So much for wanting cheap trainers:(

I don't think you need to bother with knowing all the legal malarky.

Just go to the store and explain it. If the cashier doesn't refund you simply speak to the manager - you will get your money back.

Just take the shoes and receipt back and explain what happened. It was probably just an honest mistake, or something with the system, since it was acting up. They should just refund the extra charge with no issues.
  • Thanks - ill do that! Fingers crossed it will be quite simple - will let you know how i get on
