First thing is remove the battery. When you say "a bit" what do you mean? a few drops or half a cup?
If it's only a small amount (as in drops) hold the machine open and upside down and use tissues to dab onto and between the keys. when you have dries as best you can, use a hairdrier on a low settings and blow around the keys with the laptop either still upside down or standing on it's side. Give it about 5 minutes and then put the laptop into a warm dry place overnight, if possible open, and with a towel on the keyboard.
If you spilt more liquid, like a cup of water you will probably need to remove the keyboard, it's not that hard, the screws holding the keyboard are underneath. once removed you will need to clean under the keyboard as well, you also might have to remove the individual keys to clean under them.====0 -
if its something like coffee or coke then it will damage the keyboard inners if not cleaned out properlyEx forum ambassador
