Talk Talk cold calling

Just had a knock on the door with a representative from Talk Talk trying to convince me to switch my line rental to them. Obviously said no, and I mentioned Martin's name and the fact that I use 18866 for my calls.
However, are they any good? What would I benefit from using them and saving a grand total of 51p per month on line rental? What would I lose? We also have Wanadoo broadband which goes through the BT line.
Ooooh, and apparently I could talk to my next door neighbour (who I don't know at all) for free! :rotfl:

Off the top of my head I can only think of three things you'd lose:
1. Free Caller Display (so bang goes three and a half times the alleged line rental saving);
2. The guaranteed ability to use other call providers like 1899, 18866 and 18185;
3. A 'one stop' fault reporting service (the line is still owned by BT so those paying TT for line rental have to report faults to TT - who then have to report the fault to BT).Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -
Five more.
1.If you moved you would not be a BT Moving Customer,and so would not be able to benefit from any discounts.You might end up having to pay for a new line to be connected!
2.If you have BT call sign TT dont support it.
3.TT bar calls to some Intl countries.You have to ask them for the bar to be lifted,they can decline.
4.If you are not ringing from your Home Phone Customer Service is on a 0870 number.Where as BT is free.
5.You would pay more to call some NGN .0845 peak on TT 4.50p a min.BT only 3p a min.PF.0
