Have a look at the radio city apartments - we stayed here last week and it is right near to times square near to all the action - the price was very resonable £120 per night for a 1 bedroom apartment (2 double beds and a double sofa bed)
for flights check out https://www.travelsupermarket.com0 -
If you are not going to Florida for Disney I would suggest going down south to the barrier i slands of Sanibel and Captiva,or Anna Maria Island,or Naples, all wonderfully laid back places with a carribbean vibe.0

Remember it's spring break in the US in April. Every state has different holidays but overall it lasts from last week in March to beginning of May.
We went to NY for 4 days then Orlando for 12 days end March into April last year and found it far busier than on our previous trip in July. The queues were horrendous in the theme parks. I-drive was also a lot busier than we'd seen it before. Seemed to us that all the Americans go to Florida then cos its not so hot/humid. In July it seemed to be mainly brits there.0
