Is this possible, from techno simpleton

Options
Wonder if any of you intelligents can advise me.......
I have a HP touchsmart PC so run my pc, computer, music, dvd etc all through this.
Its located in my bedroom and as my house is open plan, what I was wondering is, is it possible to buy a TFT or LCD that will connect via bluetooth or somehow wirelessly so that I can view this from my living area which would be approx 9m away from the pc (no walls)?
Might be expecting too much I know, have also considered a home projector if thats a possibility?
Thanks

It's certainly possible especially if you only want to watch or listen to media, do you have a PS3 or XBox ?

I think philips used to do a device which would do this, I've had a quick look but cant find it now.

No don't own any consoles, want it to just work as an extension of pc, tv etc but without all the messy wires. Will have a look at Phillips thanks. Would there be a delay in the image being received this way?

There's always the Apple TV which allows you to wirelessly use your iTunes library.

Assuming it's not HD stuff you're wanting to watch, I'd splash £20 on an xbox, softmod it and use XBMC. Doesn't have the grunt for HD stuff but for normal stuff you'll wonder how you lived without it.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

Have a look at something like this if it's just for video, audio etc

Although you've not said as much, I get the impression you actually want to use the keyboard and pc but display it on the tv, apologies if that's not right but if you do then things like wireless senders are not ideal and you may be better off running the tv as a 2nd monitor wired to the pc.

I'm not so much bothered about using the pc, keyboard etc, was simply wondering if I would be able to watch tv and dvd + listen to music from the pc upstairs but without aerial, dvd player wires on view.
weegie I'm interested how an xbox would help, not very clever when it comes to these things.
    Thanks

geewhiz, that looks ideal. So if I got a monitor for downstairs I could watch tv on it via the pc using the wireless pc to tv sender aswell as dvd?

Yes, exactly that although you don't need a monitor, just use your tv.

No offence but unless you are near blind the video sender option will drive you crazy because of low quality, and the fact you will have to keep going to the pc too swap disks etc
consider This Gadget, its like the xbox idea but requires less "knowledge" personally, at the money, see if any friends can guide you through the xbox/xbmc idea its a lot cheaper
