I wouldn't have thought so seeing as it wasn't actually in stock in your area and you tried to get it by entering a different post code

I can understand your frustration though but we've yet to see whether they actually honour any of the transactions that so far appear to have gone through. They've taken money from my credit card but I've not yet received the 3rd email confirming delivery

They wouldn't have actually taken the money yet, just authorised it and put a hold on that amount prior to processing the order. It normally shows up as a reduction in your available credit, but it's still in your account until they physically claim the payment.
If they 'have' actually taken the money then they've entered into contract and you should get your telly. You can ring your CC and ask them to check whether the money's been debited, but it's unlikely.0 -

No, it's actually gone through as a transaction and shows up in the "new transactions" area rather than the "outstanding authorisations" area. So, does this mean they have formed a contract to supply then, even though they've yet to confirm delivery details? I had to select three possible dates and it said someone would call to confirm actual date of delivery

Had a confirmation letter through the post today, stating delivery on Friday !

Had the tape measure out to show the kids how much bigger this is compared to our 14 incher ! Bit doubtful that it'll fit in our new lounge ! We'll have to renovate
