For those people trying to input any old postcode to try and get delivery, they will only deliver to the actual postcodes where they have remaining stock left surely? How can they deliver to you if you live across country from the postcode you gave them?

Yep, i found a valid postcode to get it in the basket but when i put in my own delivery postcode and submitted payment it flipped back to the 'out of stock message' again. Can't see how you can fool it?

I have a matsui 28" TV and it has been running fine for the past 4 years. Did fancy the Sanyo...too slow though. Good luck to those who managed to bag it.

Short of moving house, I don't think you can. (Remember they'll probably want to do a security check to ensure the Credit Card address matches the delivery address too, so no chance having it delivered to your mate's mother in law's second uncle, once removed :D)

Large screen TV's are delivered by Dixons Home Delivery Service, not a courier that Dixons deliver most other items by.

Using a courier, Dixons will probably ship nationwide to secure a sale, since the courier will be able to relay it to the destination.

Using Dixons Home Delivery Service, I think they only deliver within the areas served by the warehouses that have stock.

Just been to Currys which has the Matsui TV in shop. Although it was £300 the guy said he would sell it for £250 at it was the last one (Bargain?? Not). It was the dark grey version and the picture was as good as others instore. I was looking for a TV stand and the cheapest I found was the £39.99 one on the Dixons website, but in Currys store was £35. Looks a bit cheap against the £150 glass stands but ideal for a basic stand with glass shelf. Hope this helps and if anyone finds a good cheap stand please let me know. Regards.....freddy
