hi all, have not left home all day so spent absolutely nothing, so thats good eh, im getting the hang of this moneysaving.0

£47.60 on petrol! Absolute rip-off!0

Today I spent:
£1.25p on two bottles of cola on special offer
£6.50 on a prescription (for Zyban, so it can be offset against the amount of money I'd have spent on cigarettes)
30p on a packet of chocolate buttons
On the plus side, my lunch was paid for by a drugs company rep (a whopping £2.50 on a sandwich).
My other half has spent:
32p on a newspaper.
Grand total:
£8.37 (although four weeks of Zyban will save me about £101, therefore I'd like to exempt the prescription fees making the total £1.87)

Nothing that can't be claimed on expenses from work today.0

God I spent a small fortune!
£1.00 on bus fare into town
£4.97 on a cordless phone from Argos. The other £20 was a gift voucher I hadn't used yet. DS2 vomited all over our old phone and despite a thorough clean although it rang, you couldn't actually answer it.
£5.00 on a watch as a Xmas present for DS1
£6.99 on a Thomas the Tank Engine DVD for DS2
£6.00 on a new black handbag to replace my grotty, mucky other one.
£1.00 on a trio of scissors.
£1.20 bus fare home
£3.25 on a book bag for DS1 with the school logo on it.
£34.88 on a meal at a gastro-pub, which is actually a mystery shopping purchase so I will get reimbursed but not until the end of November. DH paid on his new Tesco Credit Card so we'll get 17 points to add to the 135 we already have, and then I will also have got 34 nectar points to add to the 900 I have accumulated.
DH got paid today - his first monthly wage - and it was around the figure I had expected (phew) so budgeting is going to be SO MUCH easier, AND we will actually have some money to put away "to save". I, of course, moved £34.88 over to an attached savings account that I have nicknamed the "Tesco Credit Card Savings". Don't want to get into any more debt.April 2006 - £9790.26dr. DFD - March 20110 -
Monkeylugs lol why does it cost you more to go home than to get into town?
I spent 34p on some food colouring for work (I could claim it back but feel weird going to my boos, filling in a ton of paperwork then chasing it halfway round the building for claiming back 34p), 25p on bread and 89p on three mini pizza things.
So £1.48
The annoying thing is I coked two pizzas and was only hungry enough to eat one and a half. What a waste!

8p - The £1.00 trip was one bus company (Keighley) and the £1.20 was First Bradford but I wasn't going to wait 20 minutes to get the Keighley bus home thus saving 20p.
Wouldn't your pizza have frozen?April 2006 - £9790.26dr. DFD - March 20110 -
Can you refreeze food that has already been frozen and defrosted?
I am really nervous about this whole freezing and keeping foods thing, I don't like food poisoning!
What are the general rules? Soprry, but I'm clueless.Pay off CC debt by Xmas 2017 #095 £0 of £11,416 :eek:0
