My black has run out, yet the colour is 3/4 full. I want to prink pure black text- should i be able to still print in black (from the colour cartridge?)

It wouldn't print black, but it would give as good an approximation as possible through mixing the colours from the colour cartridge.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

Dark blue would be the closest but the colour cartidge only does colour
or there would be no need of a Black cartidge.0 -

Mr Skint i thought that too, what with black not being a colour and all that. Then i thought white isnt a colour either, but i bet white could be printed onto coloured paper0 -

Its kinda like this, Black isnt a colour as it reflects no light
whilst white is a colour as it does reflect light.
