Help with divorce.

I married when I was 18, and left my husband when I was about 20, am now 27.

I started divorce proceedings in 2005 with a solicitors using Legal Aid, the solicitors then ceased accepting Legal Aid so I found another solicitor, who I thought would sort out the case quickly. How wrong I was!

The solicitor I am with now has told me my case is closed as I have reached my Legal Aid limit, and I have not got a clue what to do.

The solicitor said that we should apply for the divorce based on two years seperation, even though I knew he would not consent, which he didn't.

Now I have been told that unless I find out where my husband is myself, the divorce cannot carry on.

I have no idea where my husband is, do not know anyone who knows him, and have no idea where to start.

Has anyone been in the same boat, able to offer advice?
