I am considering to buy the following HP multifunction printer. Does anybody have any expience or recommendations.
My main needs are black and white printing (laser), ability to copy and scan with a network port. I have previously owned a BROTHER inkjet printer but was not totally impressed with their products.
HP LaserJet M1522n MFP

The link you've given doesn't work.
Is THIS the one you mean?
You shouldn't have any problems with a Hewlett-Packard but do bear in mind that when comparing printing devices it's important also to check the price and availability of the ink or toner cartridges it uses, as well as the price of the device itself. In the long run these are frequently the more significant expense.
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I bought a Lexmark x3480 and don't use my HP B&W LJ at all as a result!
I find it really easy to use and was able to freecycle my flat bed scanner and desktop photocopier as a result.
I realise it is a photo quality printer and not a high quantity machine, but the cartridges work out a lot cheaper than HP any day (£11 each)!
If nothing else, I would check the toner costs for comparable machines. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I use loads of printers and I would suggest you have a look at this HP Officejet at Dabs we've just bought one and it is a cracker, quicker than a laser, quieter than a laser, much cheaper to run, pigmented ink so it is waterproof and touch dry. Ink is cheap and easy to get hold of. Have a look round because you may find cash back deals from HP, we paid just under £100 for one with a cashback deal. And the clincher for me is that it is colour for the same price as a mono laser machine.
It's a cracker!0
