Free £10 on account Virgin......

Wow, I'm completely lost with this now!

I ordered my voucher a week ago and just used it to buy a burner.. I read someone else's post which says they were refused the burner- thing is the burner IS homeware so surely it's unfair if they refuse it?
Does the minimum spend of £20 still appy to vouchers claimed before they added that term?


I'll be so disappointed if I don't get my 25p oil burner

Not too sure but the burner shouldn't have been in the homeware sale section (I think it was someone here that had it comfirmed via email). Has the 25p been taken from your card?

Where in earth would they put it if not in homewares? It's hardly cosmetics or jewellery! Not to mention the fact that they have other burners in their homeware section, these are a little more expensive though... I assume the voucher could be used for them
Seems they are finding any way possible to get out of honoring our vouchers.....

Mmmm just checked my account I ordered the bubble bath and got the email saying it would be cancelled. The £10 was recredited to my account but the order still showed as in progress.

I assumed it would be cancelled and used the £10 that was recredited and the home code to order a candle gift set for £3.95 (should have been £20 plus p&p).

Now my account shows the bubble bath as been shipped and the 2nd order as in progress, they have taken the £3.95 from my card already, so it looks like I may get both orders

My order has now changed to 'shipped' and I have received an email notifying me that the goods have been despatched.

I had some money on account in winnings from their recent comp to add to the £10 from the Real Homes promotion, which made the winnings more worth using, taking into account the post and packing charge, and I also fortunately coincidentally had ordered from the Home section.

Edit to say goods received this morning Thanks OP for the extra tenner to spend!!

the same happened to me I got the email saying my order had been cancelled but the cash would go back on my acount.I replied and asked why as it was from the homeware sale section,no reply as yet.Anyway as the cash wash back on my account I went ahead and ordered something else.Now my previous order says shipped,so new order will probably get cancelled now :rolleyes:

Shipped means nothing with Virgin, my previously cancelled order using the prize codes is also showing as shipped, but it never arrived, and the recent order cancelled bacause it was not homeware is also showing as shipped.

Go figure to use a horrible Americanism!

Well I haven't had any email to say item has been dispatched so I don't hold out much hope of recieving it.
