Amazon & Next Day Office Limited

Can anyone advise please
I purchased a whiteboard through Amazon - through their market place seller Next Day Office Limited.
I checked the packaging when it arrived (which was fine), but didn't open it as I wasn't ready to mount it. I opened it at the weekend (2 months later) and found that it had loads of dents in. Clearly it was damaged before they packaged it as the packing is fine
Next day office day that as I didn't return it within 7 days - it's tough and they're not going to do anything. Amazon say that as I didn't return it within 30 days they won't replace it either.
What shall I do next? It's clearly still in new condition with all the labels and stickers on - but I'm cross that my brand new whiteboard that I paid a lot of money for is all dented. It's for my little girls room which has been recently decorated and will look rubbish.
I'm heavily pregnant and could really do without the hassle. I certainly won't be shopping with either N D Office or Amazon (which is a shame as I used to spend quite a lot with them). I've contacted Trading Standards. Is there anything else I can do?
