Redundancy? No longer required for the needs of the business?

It is likely that, if the employer knew that reinstatement was a possibility, they would only recruit somebody for the role on a temporary/ fixed term basis.

But if they didn't they would have two perm employers.

    Do you mean employees? ;)

It would be highly likely that the new employee would still be in their first year of employment, or even on their probationary period. It is relatively easy to get rid of someone in their first year.

Task for this afternoon - find out how the employer could get rid of the employee. Report back later! ;)

So you would just have to make out the new employee was useless and sack them. Very ethical.

who cares about peoples feelings , if i have 10 jobs and i suspend or sack someone i would probably have 100s of people after that one job .

Business is not about people its about making money .

i am not saying i agree with this but this is life

Feelings don't come into business. Over the course of your career it is inevitable that you will meet some pretty horrid people (who will hopefully be outweighed by the good).

Ethics don't matter in business it would seem.

Horrid people are often those who you need things from in this life.

You don't need someone to be useless in order to make them redundant...
