5.1 speaker system

I'm thinking about buying the following 5.1 system. Will I be able to use these when watching normal tv, or playing Blu Ray's through my PS3??

How do you receive your tv broadcasts? How do you connect your PS3?

It doesn't have any optical inputs, so I really wouldn't be looking at it for a wise purchase.

I'm afraid that if that system doesn't have an optical input, which according to the specs on the amazon site, that you would need to buy a digital coaxial to optical converter (around £13) plus the cost of the coax and optical cable in order to get 5.1 to work. Better to get a system with an optical input in the first place. I would look at Sony as philips, panasonic and samsung etc. sound pretty poor. To get HD audio from your PS3 you would need to up your budget. for example.
