Help needed with bedroom furniture storage

Hi,
I have just recently discovered I had bed bugs in my bedroom  so I have had to throw out my bed and all my bedding. Luckily I have a fantastic landlord and he came over and helped me disinfect the room and bought me a new bed.
Only problem is he's bought me a divan with no storage space underneath so now I'm a bit stuck. I used to store my shoes under my bed but now can't. I have very limited storage space in my room as it is so I need storage solutions for clothes, my many shoes and boots haul. Only problem is that I'm on a very limited budget a I spent nearly £60 on new bedding (!) I'm sure I could have spent less but I didn't really have much choice as by the time I finished cleaning it was 4.30pm and was the nearest place that sold bedding. Only have one duvet set so need to buy another duvet set and flat sheets too!
Thanks in advance!
