take travel cot as part of luggage?

we are going a way in august, we have a small baby and we want to take our travel cot, would this is ok to take with us on the plane with the rest of our luggage?

Should be OK as long as it falls within your baggage allowance. Who are you flying with? If it's Sleazyjet or Ryanair then you may need to pay extra for an additional bag.The man without a signature.0

When travelling abroad (usually Transatlantic) you tend to get 2 bags for your allowance. So between yourself and whoever is going im sure you can take the travel cot as a piece of luggage. Assuming you're taking a pram too then i dont know a single airline that doesn't let you carry those as additional baggage and for free.0
