Scottish and Newcastle shares from 1987

I think I posted this is the wrong forum so will try here
Hope this is ok
have found a Notice of Appropriation for Scottish and Newcastle Breweries from 1987 for 77 share at £2.35 each in my maiden name
Is this worth anything and how would I go about fining out

They became defunct in April 2008 when they were bought put by heineken and Carlsburg so something must comeback for those shares.

They were bought at a price of £8 a share - so 77 x £8 = £616.

You should be entitled to a payout of £616 if there hasnt been any share splits in that time or if you have been allowcated shares in both carlsburg and heineken.

Oh thanks so much ,have just telephoned and you were right a cheque for £616 is waiting for me to claim ,also said I may have some dividends to claim,just have to write in with marriage certificate and proof of identity.
