Just registered for secure internet credit card shopping with Tesco, through the Tesco Finance website. If you register before 31st October, and you have a clubcard, they give you 500 Clubcard points worth 20 quid in Deals! Thats half the cost of a 1 day Eurotunnel dash to stock up on cheap booze!
Survivor of debt, redundancy, endowment scams, share crashes, sky-high inflation, lousy financial advice, and multiple house price booms. Comfortably retired after learning to back my own judgement.
This is not advice - hopefully it's common sense..

I did this in August following another post on the subject on this site. I did get my Clubcard points so it was certainly worthwhile - though I can't say anything different has happened so far with any online orders paid for by card.0

You can exchange any Tesco clubcard vouchers for 'Deals'. Most deals are worth 4 times the face value of the voucher. In 3 months my wife and I collected £40 of vouchers, some were from shopping at Tesco, some from getting petrol at Tesco, and the vast majority were from having a Tesco credit card where you get 1 point of every £2 spent.
With my £40 of vouchers, I exchanged £10 worth for a £39 Eurotunnel day trip on which I brought lots of wine and did Brown out of the duty. I got a years subscription to BBC History magazine of £10.20 worth of vouchers (real price £40). A years subscription to Gardeners World magazine - at about the same rate, and with the rest the Mrs, me and my son had a slap up meal at Cafe Rouge worth about £60. So my £40 of vouchers was turned into £160 of goods and services. I reckon that by just using my card, and shopping at Tesco occasionally, I currently get about £600 of goods and services free every year.
At the moment I am saving the vouchers for an Xmas present of 6 driving lessons for my daughter, and towards a free Cosmos holiday for my wife and me.
