Everytime I switch on my computer and click on btyahoo. I get this pop up. "Dial btyahoo, this programme has performed an illegal action. If this persists contact your vendor". Most of the time when I close the pop up, I can still use the internet but on some occasions, the computer completely freezes and had to shut down manually." Does anybody know what can I do to rectify this, I know the computer will die on me soon, it's a windows 98. I am working on buying a new one after Xmas. Thanks

Try reinstalling the dial up software, as it might be a missing file.0

Upgrading the dial up networking is probably easier than reinstalling. This MS article explains how to upgrade to DUN 1.40
