scottish power fixed-r they any good

was looking at changing to the fixed rate scottish power but am concenrned as they dont seem to have very good customer service. any one recommend them?

How often do you expect to contact/phone their customer service? My past history shows that I have contacted my electricity supplier (not SP) on average once every 8 years (twice due to house moves and once due to DD issue) .. and despite various vents and headline grabbing comments found their service to be fine.

Assuming you are not looking to become best buddies with their call centre staff etc. I would suggest looking at the prices and determine which tariff is best for you .. then judge the CS for yourself.

I fixed my dual fuel prices with Scottish Power in February; the price will be held until March 2011 for only an extra £3 a month. This seems a good deal, and I find their call centre certainly no worse than any of the others I have used over the years.
