microsoft word gone

:p tried to use microsoft word today and my computer says no! i need to reinstal the software but i can't find it any ideas much appriciated

    Is it on a disk that you have, Or go to Windows Explorer, My Documents, get a word document, right click, choose open with and select word, just to see if its truly vanished.

    As in disk I meant it could be on a restore disk unless you had it installed seperately.

    yes its gone and it was first installed by a disc a couple of years ago don't know where it is now, when i try to access it it is saying you need to install the disc and microsoft wizard it was working fine the other day but now can't copy and paste or write a document

  • Could it be that you did not register it with Microsft? If so you only have a certain number of times you can use it.:confused:

    no its not that i think the computer would not let us access it a few weekso rang them and they give us a number to put nin do you think i need to ring them again

    Yes ring them, but dont let them charge you at £48.00 a time.
