Hi
It's my 40th next week and after spending months dreading it I have decided (rather belatedly) to make the most of it. I would like to stay the night in London and use our Merlin Annual passes to visit London Eye, Madame Tussauds and London Dungeons (Maybe a bit ambitious, my knowledge of London is not great!) I am trying to find a hotel room for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 12 and 14) with breakfast, got a budget of around 150 pounds, I would like to find a nice hotel preferably with a swimming pool, can anyone suggest anywhere? I have checked the usual lastminute, expedia, ebookers, late rooms and found nothing within my budget. Lots say that I need to book 2 rooms which we can't afford to do. I did try to find any hotels with special offers, but no luck.

Nothing fancy and certainly no swimming pool but 10 minutes from the tube and breakfast (continental) included - you could get it for your budget - I don't know where else you could get at such short notice sorry.

You will be lucky to get a bed for the night at that price. But try www.travelodge.co.uk and try the Youth Hostel Association www.yha.org.uk don't be put off by their reputation, they have some wonderful places to stay, a lot of them in Central London and some more that are outside London but easily in reach by the Underground.0

Sorry can't find a really good hotel with a swimming pool for your budget, but Holiday inns avaialble for the date you want that sleep 2 adults and 2 children on a double bed and pull out sofa bed.

For Sat 26th Earls Court £125 for room that sleeps 2 adults and 2 children (ie. double n soafbed) Hammersmith £97. Stratford £75. Brent Cross £69 (at the bottom of the m1 and on busy road, but hotel does on demand shuttle to and from tube station, so only 15 mins from centre of London from there).0 -
If you visit the Railcard site and click on special offers there is a link to The Holiday Inn website which gives you 25% off bed and breakfast rate for a stay during a weekend. Used this last Friday, stayed at The Holiday Inn Kings Cross/Bloomsbury, family of four including breakfast for £81.0
