Chocolate question

Does any body know if chocolate can be frozen in the freezer (don't want to be a pig and eat all at once 4.5 kg)

You can freeze it but you need to thaw it very gently as it can get "bloom" if frozen (white patches on it) I think it would be okay to cook with though.

Yes! But it won't stop you eating it as it's still yummy straight from the freezer

Definitely! I love eating it straight from the freezer... though it doesn't really take me longer to eat

I'm another frozen chocolate fan - but the only frozen chocolate that lasts longer in THIS house is Toblerone (quite hard enough before freezing)! If you're seriously trying not to be a 'greedy piggy' with chocolate, I would definitely break it up into pieces before freezing and then really restrict yourself to one or two pieces at a time.

I've resorted to hiding my frozen chocolate stash inside a brussel sprouts bag - one place that nobody else around here would dream of looking :rotfl: .

Chocolate generally lasts a long time anyway, just at room temp? Deff a couple of months, unless it is old already and you thats why you have so much??
