    Just an update but the son has turned up this morning with a cat basket but it looks like he didn't have too much hard work catching it because as soon as the back door was opened the cat run straight into the house.

    My OH managed to throw a tin of cat food over into the garden last night, so he has been fed, some of it landed in the pond but at least it got some to keep it going.
