landlord issues

Need a little help if that is ok.

The wife rents a shop which has all the amenities, however the landlord has a seperate space which he wants to let out seperatly.

Does the landlord have to provide toilet facilities and water for the tenanats of the new shop.
The premises is a large house that has been converted into 3 seperate shop premises, the wifes shop is by far the biggest, and has the toilet and water supply, leaving the other 2 premises with nothing, just an epty shell. Is this legal, does the landlord have to provide the facilities for all prmises?

Thank you for help.
All hail the Moyesiah.

I know that an employer has to provide toilet facilities and drinking water for all staff, so I cannot think that premises offered without these would be very lettable.

However, I don't know that they would have to be exclusive, so if the landlord can see a way of offering all tenants access to a shared toilet / water supply without reducing the security of your wife's shop, I think he'd be within his rights to do so.

But I am not an expert, and careful reading of your wife's rental agreement would be the place to start.
