I also have Peggy's book and saw these but never dared to try and make them but yours look amazing! Well done, I'd be so impressed if someone gave one to me as a gift.
I love this book, there's so many really pretty things in it. This is the first thing I've tried out of it, I usually just look at the pictures and drool :o

I just did one stage at a time so it wasn't overwhelming! I made the flowers in advance though, not as she suggests, while waiting for the plant pots to dry.

Wow! They are amazing, would not know they were cakes!

Really a 'one off', well done you :D

The flowers definately look real, but those plantpots, they look freshly picked from the garden centre!!

I really love them, very quirky.

Wow high praise indeed! I've seen your cakes and you're brilliant. Glad you like them.

Just given them to the teachers and they went down well. My son has just left pre-school so lots of tears :o

They look fab! Well done....................don't suppose you fancy sending one to a VERY undervalued, overworked, stressed out lecturer for 16+ do you???

They are fantastic and a really clever idea, the teachers will be thrilled that you have taken the time to make them. Well done, you must be very pleased with them.

    I bet they did!

I hope you know that there will be more tears to come, it's not just a pre-school thing you know!?

I am guilty of quick glance around to look for other signs of tears, and that awful pain in my throat from restraining myself from crying, for every school event. A mothers pride, eh?

(Just hope you were talking about you and not your little one!)

Oh I know there'll be more tears, my DD is 10. I think I've been worse this time as he's my baby as I'm definitely not having any more kids. Feel like he's growing up too fast
