Doubtful - They seem to have increased stock since Saturday

To be honest it is around the £150 - £175 mark on a few online retailers but eBuyer seems the cheapest :)

Its cheaper at Savastore - £150.10 delivered ;)
(It'll be delivered quicker too based on lowest cost comparison)

Of course if you want to pay more, its £276.01 at Amazon

Wouldn't touch saveastore if they were giving them away.....they will probably say its a pricing error anyway :(

I bet you would if they were giving them away. ;)

I was just offering advice to others seeking a good deal. I have no reason to think it is a pricing error (not sure about the Amazon one though :p ). Savastore (Watford Electronics) state it was originally £214.49 excluding VAT and is now reduced to £119.14 excluding VAT. (£150.10 including VAT & delivery). I also know they were recently selling them reduced to £170.20 plus delivery.

Why should it be a pricing error?
Just because you spotted one mis-price that was £100 less than anyone else recently (which they quickly corrected), doesn't mean that all of savastores prices are mis-prices.
As the OP suggests, the printer is on sale elsewhere online in the range £150 - £175 too.

Btw, I don't think ebuyer is particularly reknowned for its good service

Thanks to the OP for this one. I have been on the look out for a good quality all-in-one at a decent price for quite a while now.

Although £150 was a bit more than I was looking to pay, there is no doubt that it is generally a lot more at most places and definately seems a 'bargain' at £150 based on the tremendous reviews it recieves from the sites I have checked out.

Lets just hope the delivery goes as smooth as the ordering process from ebuyer, who's website and ordering system I found very professional and slick.

Just to pass on my experience of this offer and ebuyer. The Canon printer was delivered today by CityLink from ebuyer on time and without any hint of a problem. Based on this experience I will definately shop with ebuyer again.

As for the printer, it is excellent. It appears to be top quality, the prints are superb and replacement inks dirt cheap compared to HP.

Just one slight problem if you are thinking of getting one, it is absolutely HUGE ! I am going to have to rearrange my whole computer desk to accomdate it. Still if thats the price to pay for such good prints I can put up with it.
  • any problems with ink drying on the nozzles if not used for a week or two? Find this a major problem with inkjets.
