Bankruptcy help with bank account please

I am not disputing that the OR can look into any account he wants but surely he would have to have just cause with which to do it. So unless op has withdrawn large amounts of cash from other bank accounts/credit cards just prior to going bc,he has no reason to look. Seeing as the OP has no other option for this mth, and it is the banks that freeze the accounts anyway not the OR,then what else would you have them do?D

I would arrange for your wages to be paid into your parents account for this month, then on the day of BR open your Co-op account, your parents can then give you your money back. As said above, this will be fine and the OR won't go looking into your parents account, as you get paid AFTER your BR date the OR will have no interest as to where this money has gone.

You're right, if you have it paid into your o/d account the bank may offset the o/d with it, which they would eventually have to give back to you, but it's not worth the hassle.
