for a home user to use just Microsoft office applications would be nice to be wireless and DVDRW, fast would be of benefit, and enough power to be able to surf/email and use office.

Really depend on your budget; however here are a couple of reasonable laptops.

or i am a big fan of the Toshiba Satellite Pro L10 series but be warned they come in a number of different guises and not all are good deals.2 heads are better than 1….unless they are on the same body!0
