i live in nottingham and would like to go to visit family in alicante in July 06 for a long weekend (thurs to sunday). Have some of the airlines stopped their flights during the summer as i cant find any reasonable prices to fly from nottingham eastmidlands. I could go from Birmingham doncaster, coventry or leeds bradford for about £100 return, but Nott east mids would be easiest.
Plus what is parking situation like at any of these. I save my clubcard vouchers so i could use purple parking.
Any help
Thanks
Louise

I live near Alicante and it would seem thst the flights for EMA airport and becoming a little more expensive. Ideally for me I would fly into EMA but this isnt always a cost effective trip! The airlines I have used are;
easyjet.co.uk
bmibaby.co.uk
flymonarch.co.uk
flythomson.co.uk
ryanair.co.uk
jet2.co.uk
ryaniar.co.uk
Theres also My Travel Lite .... hope this is of some use.What goes around... comes around...0 -
https://www.skyscanner.net shows your preferred route (EMA/ALC) is served by: flythomascook.com, bmibaby, easyJet, First Choice, Britannia, Excel Airways.
The website is only listing flights up until March at the moment, so probably best to contact these carriers directly (use https://www.google.co.uk to find their websites).0 -
I think you might be limited with your choice because you only want to go for four days. This rules out using flight-only charter-airlines such as Thomas Cook or First Choice. This is because they usually only fly once or twice a week to a particular destination.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Ryanairs summer timetable is due out within the next 14 days. You should be able to fly from East Midlands to Murcia for about £50 return a head including all taxes if you book straight away. It is an easy drive up from Murcia to Alicante0

We stay between Murcia and Alicante when we visit Spain and fly to either airport from Leeds Bradford on Jet2 - for July 2006 it is just over £250 return for 4 adults to Alicante. It's only an hour or so up the M1 from Notts and worth it if you are making the savings.
