sorry if this has been discussed before ive tried to find a post but cant, i claimed my bank charges back in march 2007, i had a letter from the third party that was claiming my charges back from me with a figure, so i was only a few days/weeks away from getting my money, after reeding posts on here i have found out i may be able to claim my charges now as i am now unemployed and trying to keep a family on benefits, can someone please advise me how to start to claim my charges back under the hardship clause that has been mentioned.

if i have to write to my bank (Lloyds tsb) and ask them to treat my case as a hardship case do i need a financial report or any other paperwork to go with the letter or will they ask for that.

Hi,
I am also looking to claim back under the hardship clause. Is there a template letter for this scenario, or should i use the ones available, or create my own letter from scratch? Which would be the most suitable?

There is no template for hardship. There is no definition of hardship that financial institutions use.
The bank will in all likelyhood send out an income and expenditure form or something of that nature to asses if they believe the case to be hardship.0
