Barclaycard - Positive Feedback!

I have a fairly large balance with Barclaycard and I recently sent them a polite email explaining I was in a fairly difficult financial situation.
As a result they have basically halved my purchase interest rate on my Platinum card this week to help me reduce the interest on the card. I appreciate they haven't got rid of the interest completely, but I'm still really grateful for what they have done... I still have to pay the usual on the cash balance, but the cash I have taken out is only around £300 so I'm not too concerned about that.
Thought it might be nice to put a positive side on the cc companies rather than the usual doom and gloom!

Good to hear and hope it gets sorted out soon.
I think most card providers are willing to find settlements for customers struggling with repayments. The methods used though can be wide ranging and in some cases controversial...0
