  • If you think it is Chicken Pox, try and get to the doctor quickly. My OH had it a few years ago and adults can get quite run down so it's best you get the medication asap. I really hope you don't have it.

    Will keep my fingers crossed.

Well, even though Im in danger or providing too much information, I'll fill you in.
I currently have 4 very sore, what I can only describe as small round blisters, 2 of them have been knocked (when I was asleep I think) and produced a clear fluid, and now they've dried out a bit and look like ive taken the top layer of skin off, theyre not bleeding or anything but they feel very itchy!
2 of them look like blisters before they've popped, and the really itch, they're quite reddish, and they are all in a relatively small area, from my collar bone to my jaw line, and i think I've got another 2 in my hairline at the nape of my neck but cant see them, but they really itch too.

I dont feel ill, but they're really itchy!

  • I agree. Down to the doctor asap, cos it takes a while to get over them and you will need time off work too. My OH needed 3 weeks.

put some camomile lotion (bad spelling cam-o-mile) on them and see if that helps.
  • Is there no place open near you on a Fri night/Sat morning?

Think you should ring NHS Direct and tell them your symptoms (08454647). I don't want to alarm you but my OH was really ill with them, and that was when he had medication. You should ring to be on the safe side. That's what they are there for.

I generally dont need NHS Direct as I have fab Mumma cafcfan who is my medical go to person as she's a nurse, and my dad works in the NHS too, so between them they can diagnose most things.

Phoned my doctors who are now done for the day, couldnt even see me for 5 mins at the end of the day (how annoying!), and she said they dont do sunday morning surgery.
Might pop into chemists and speak to the pharmicist or something, see if they can tell me if it is or not.

Might have to go to asda then and get some lotion to stop the itching.
