OK.....
Been paid £1181 this month.
Worked out I spent £91 on totally not needed things last month like a couple of presents for DH 4 being really lovely to me, itunes and lunches at work. Shameful stuff. If I've got it to spend on carp then I've got it to spend on debts.
Esp' when MBNA have just sent me a letter saying the APR is going up to 34.9% variable. My balance with them is on 0% till March 09, which means I need to get my I.Fcom card paid off quickly to then have that extra to pay toward the MBNA one.
IF.com is currently 19.9% with £1612 on it and MBNA has £2k at 0% till March....ARGH....
Just got some dinner on in the oven, and managed a no spend day today as I took lunch in with me, just need to get into the habit more. Someone told me once it takes 28 days to build a new habit....heres hoping I can start learning!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Evening hun well done for the NSD.
MBNA are in my opinion the work of the devils. They are our only credit card left and I can't wait to be shot of them.:mad:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Evening all
Not much to report apart from a no spend day and reclaimed the last of my work expenses so going to use this on monday to pay some extras off my credit card and the minimum WOOHOO!
Having a lazy night tonight, watching some recordings on the sky+ with DH. And then I think I might run myself a bit of a luxury bath and try to relax a bit... been having real trouble sleeping lately and i want to make the most of the extra hour tonight LOLWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Another no spender for me.
Didnt quite manage the extra hour of kip, but hopefully will catch up tomorrow as day off for me.
Got my expenses money hidden away ready to take into the bank on tuesday when Im next in town to pay it off my credit card.
Got to get dinner going soon, doing well with the food, still plenty going and not been getting takeaways etc. Hoping to do a shopping list ready for next time i need to order, seems internet ordering is really working for us as we're using the food up and not spending on unneccesary things. Plus the last time we went to asda we spent £15 for one days meal, copz we spent on magazines etc, so want to put a stop to that kind of thing.
Hows everyone else been?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
evening!
i've done nothing today and it felt goooood!we've had thunderstorms and power cuts all weekend so not really been able to do anything.
anyway enough rambling. any plans for your day off.0 -
well our letting agents are coming round on friday for a "routine inspection", first one Ive ever had any letting agent do, so I guess I should have a bit of a tidy up. Need for find the 2for1 vouchers on Handbag for either Ask or Strada as we are all going to go out from work on wednesday and want to save us all some money.
That and formulating my budgets and overpayments for credit cards etc, not much planned.
I love thunderstorms! Not a great fan of powercuts though!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
