Well its worth a chance isn't it? I was walking round town today and it's so depressing seeing all the shops closed up. There will be nothing left on our high street soon.
Do you want to stay in the same line or do you fancy a change? Don't forget you may have insurance on your credit card payments, loans etc for redundancy.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

i dont have PPI on anything as it was costing me so much...
But most of the debts are in DH name anyway, ive only got 3 of the credit cards which are all on 0% now (well when I use our old deposit to pay off my i.f com card)...... so me being made redundant wont really do anything anyway....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

I think its more the way its been dealt with that has been quite disgusting....and actually just hurts quite a bit....personally but such is I guess.... business is cruel...
My feet are absolutely freezing today and I need to figure something to wear to my interview..... perhaps I need to go out and buy something...... cheap blouse or something a bit more professional??? Be good to have something to wear to other interviews as this will just continue to be a problem.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Hello All
My god my day feels like it has gone on forever!
Imagine this....
6am woke up, got dressed, did hair and make-up
6:30am left for bus
6:33am watched bus drive past at end of road
6:59am after standing at bus stop for 20+ minutes, feet got very very cold and hands started to tingle.....had leather gloves on but they did nothing!
Got on bus which didnt go direct to my interview place, so had to change, no problem, other bus was already waiting...
7:29am arrived at stop closest to interview.
Walked on a bit realised how cold it was on top of a hill in a tiny village.
7:35am arrived at interview, noone to be seen, building all locked up, no lights on or cars in car park.
7:40am was started to get very VERY cold and feel a bit sick, decided to walk to try and get blood circulating, so went for a walk through this village.
7:45am thought I should turn back as interview at 7:50am
7:50am back at the doors, still no sign of life. Feet were frozen, bottom lip had lost all its colour and fingers were numb...
8:00am could stand it any longer and walked back to bus stop, eyes were streaming I was so cold, chest hurt, feet were numb, legs hurt.
8:05am was back on bus
8:15am got a call whilst sat on bus to say they had JUST arrived and wondered if I was on my way or had already left! I missed the call as I had to change buses as the doors got stuck on the 1st one I was on.
8:25am turned up at work, sat on floor with two fan heaters either side of me and literally wept I was so cold, had a cup of tea and called back my interviewers. They were really apologetic, and I was honest and said I was just so cold and couldnt stand there any longer.... they told me they had got iced in and couldnt get out of their village at any pace, and that yes it was really cold, was minus 6 when they got to the practice so wasnt surprised at all that I left and they would call me back to see what time they could fit me in on monday!
Got a call about an hour ago saying they could see me at half 1....
Phew drama drama.....
Then having closing down sale at work and was rammed!!! And fed up with having the same conversation with my customers.... yes I know its sad that both we and Whittards are closing and they will have to buy their tea and coffee online but have some respect, where are we going to get our wages from? Sometimes people are so selfish!
GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Anyway got a massive dinner on the go for me and DH, and bought some vegetable seeds today to grow come spring and try to save some money there as well! Get me.......... im a village dweller and proud!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Thats bad CAFC what a waste of your time! at least they where apologetic
Fingers crossed for you! hope you get it!
OH is gonna build me a little veg patch when it gets a bit warmer, was so cold defrosting the car this morn x***** on the road to debt freedom *****

If it had been warmer I would have hung around longer but I literally could not stand up any longer!
But yeah I could have spent 2 extra hours in bed.... was awake from 5am as well worried that I wouldnt get up in time...so ive got a bit of a headache now.....
and the crazy oven at our house will only cook whats on the top shelf, not the second so something which should have taken half an hour is still cooking 1 hour later!
If it wasnt funny.... i'd cryWealth is not measured by currency0
